Tianqin Ren
I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy at University of Missouri.
My current research mainly focuses on the interpretation of evolution by natural selection, including its scientific, epistemic and normative implications. I'm also interested in the explanatory power of simulation models and AI.

I enjoy guiding students to explore the world of philosophy and have been teaching several introductory philosophy courses as an independent graduate instructor.
I am the president of MAP (Minorities and Philosophy) chapter at our department.
